Edward Hawkins Ross

Edward Hawkins Ross October 14, 1923 September 12, 2009 Edward Hawkins Ross, age 85, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Polkton, NC moving to Live Oak, FL in 1996 from Miami, FL. Edward retired from the U.S. Air Force after 43 years having served in Air-Sea Rescue. He was a member of the NCO club and was Protestant by faith. Survivors include one son, Wayne K. Ross, Bradenton, FL; two sisters, Rose Mary Caldwell, Rowanoke, VA; Geveine Lawson, Spruce Pines, NC and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date in the Live Oak Cemetery.
