Elenora Rose Henry (Ellie), age 94, of Brooksville, FL passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL. She was born in Marysville, OH in 1921. She moved to Seymour, IN after her marriage to Scott Winston Tuggle in 1940. They moved to Seminole, FL in 1945 where she resided for over 40 years. While in Seminole she served as the President of the Seminole Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and the President of the Seminole V.F.W. Auxiliary 9272. After her retirement from her job as a school bus driver for the Pinellas County school system she moved to Brooksville, FL where she enjoyed her retirement for over 35 years. While in Brooksville she became a life member and president of the V.F.W. Auxiliary 8713. She loved to crochet and was an avid bowler for many years. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. Above all else, she valued the time she spent with her family. In March of this year she moved to the Good Samaritan Center at the Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park, FL.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna (Frank) Walker, Live Oak, FL; Lynn Pulchano, Inverness, FL; Vonda Rickard, Crothersville, IN; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by husbands Scott Winston Tuggle and William Bruce Henry, long-time companion Joe Blair, son Robert Scott Tuggle, two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 18, 2016 in the Bushnell National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
