Elizabeth Evans Corbin, age 89, of Live Oak, FL passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL surrounded by her loving family. She was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak working as a sales clerk for Live Oak Drug Company. Mrs. Elizabeth loved working in her yard, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Live Oak Church of God.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Sarah Evans, husband, Raymond Dent Corbin, two sisters, Wannie Mae Brannan and Louise Smith, brother, J.D. Evans.
She is survived by one son, Ray (Mary) Corbin, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Diane (Sonny) Nobles, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Christine (Clarence) Miller, Thornville, OH; three grandchildren, Thad Nobles and Beth Brock both of Live Oak and Niel Corbin, Jasper, FL; six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 2:00 PM, Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Live Oak Church of God with Pastor Wes Tanksley officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church.
