Elsie Missouri James

Elsie Missouri James, age 86, passed away Friday, July 27th, 2012 at home after a lengthy illness. The Avon Park, Florida native moved to Live Oak with her husband “Buddy” James from Wauchula, Florida in 1946. She was an active member of Suwannee Station Baptist Church. She loved to sew, crochet and really enjoyed taking trips with the Senior Citizen’s Club. She was predeceased by her husband Jason Thomas “Buddy” James. She is survived by three daughters, Susan Radford and Mary Cason both of Live Oak and Rita Petersen of Green Cove Springs, Florida. And one sister, Bea Wooten of Laurel, Mississippi. The three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services were held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 30th, 2012 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wilbur Wood, officiating. Internment followed in the Live Oak cemetery.
