Emma Gibbs Green

Emma Gibbs Green, age 100, of Live Oak, FL passed away Tuesday, morning August 11, 2015 at Surrey Place Care Center in Live Oak. She was a native of Cleburne, Alabama moving to Live Oak in 2001 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Emma taught school for many years and was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Juanita (Bill) Thrasher, Live Oak; one sister, Bertha Pearce, Bynum, AL; two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be held in Bowdon, Georgia later this week at the Crossville Methodist Church Cemetery in Crossville, Alabama.
