Esther Cannon Carroll Hurst

Esther Cannon Carroll Hurst, age 73 of Live Oak, FL passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 14, 2013 at Lake City Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Inglis, FL living most of her life in Live Oak. She worked for many years as a nurse for the Suwannee County Hospital and was a member of the Live Oak Elk’s Lodge #1165 and the Mt. Zion Christian Church. She is survived by three sons, Harvey L. Carroll, III; Richard Carroll and Alan Carroll all of Live Oak; one brother, Jimmy Cannon, Live Oak; one sister, Betty Jo Cannon Murat, Live Oak; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 9:00 until 10:00 AM. Funeral services were held 10:00 AM, Friday, May 17, 2013 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Clare Parker officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak cemetery.
