Evelyn Weaver Sheppard
February 23, 1942 — April 21, 2020
Evelyn Weaver Sheppard, age 78, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Tuesday morning, April 21, 2020 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, Florida. She was born in Dixie County, living most of her life in Live Oak. Evelyn worked as a clerk for Gold Kist Poultry Plant for many years and was a member of the Orange Baptist Church. She loved sitting on her back porch, watching the deer and turkeys wandering through her back yard. She also enjoyed fishing and gardening. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Sheppard, Live Oak; two sons, Eugene Sheppard and Parker (Debbie) Sheppard all of Live Oak; one sister, Vera Gossett, Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Due to the current circumstances, our society is facing, there will be a private family graveside service.
