Fay Heaney

Fay Heaney, age 92, formally of Live Oak, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the Indigo Palms Care Center in Daytona Beach, FL. She was a native of Lamar County, TX, living most of her life in Live Oak before moving to Ocala, FL to be closer to her family in 2003. Fay worked as an operator for Alltel Telephone Company until 1990. After retiring she did volunteer work for the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches and Humane Society. She loved crocheting, gardening and cooking and was Protestant by faith.
She was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Elizabeth and Carl Glatti.
She is survived by two sons, William Gordon (Cathy) Green, Daytona Beach, FL; John Melvin Green, Ocala, FL; three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held Thursday, prior to the services from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held, 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2019 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Mrs. Brittany Archer officiating.
