Frances Fennell

Frances Jenkins Fennell, age 91, of Live Oak, FL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, November 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Live Oak, Florida and lived all her life in Live Oak.  During her life she worked at B.W. Helvenston Insurance Company, Poole Timber and W.B. Howland Company.  She was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church.

While she was able, she loved to shop, spend time with her family, loved to cook, host family gatherings and loved nice expensive shoes which she passed down to her nieces.  Frances was always one who put others first.  She got pleasure doing for others, if it was bringing you potato salad, Christmas candy or a pound cake.  In her later years when she could no longer cook, she was faithfully contributing money and donations of need to the "Bags of Blessings" at Westwood Church for children.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mallory Fennell, parents Frank and Leanna Jenkins, sister and brother-in-law, Virginia Jenny and Robert Tidwell, brothers, Bill Jenkins and Frank Richard (Bo) Jenkins, great niece and great nephew, Amanda and Jimmy Ward.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Millie (Paul) Schneider, Tina (Thad) Nobles, Billy (Sheila) Jenkins, Karen (Johnny) Korn, Amy (Jimmy) Ward, Ricky (Anna) Jenkins, Donna Tidwell, Bobby (Geri) Tidwell, sisters-in-law, Ann Jenkins and Ruth Jenkins, 25 great nieces and nephews, and 12 great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with the visitation one hour prior to the services.  A private family burial was held in the Live Oak Cemetery.

She will be truly missed by all that she met.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to "Bags of Blessings" at Westwood Baptist Church.
