Fred Brooker, Jr.
April 10, 1931 — July 3, 2023
Fred Brooker, Jr., age 92, of Live Oak, FL passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at Lake City Medical Center. He was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak, FL where he worked as a supervisor for Florida Rock for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War and was a member of the Advent Christian Church. Fred loved spending time with his family and listening to music.
He was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Clara Jane Brooker; his wife, Charlotte Brooker, two daughters, Karen Brooker and Patricia Soja.
He is survived by his son, Fred Brooker, III, Live Oak, FL.
Funeral services were held, 11:30 AM, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Carver officiating. Private burial will be held with the family. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 10:30 to 11:30 at the funeral home.
