Fred J. Wilson, 70 of Live Oak, Florida passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2008, at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was a native of Elwood, IN moving to Live Oak six years ago from Rockledge, Florida. Fred retired as a Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force having served for 23 years, then was employed at the Kennedy Space Center as a Network Technician for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Orlando, FL, the Moose Lodge #624, Lake City, FL and the Luraville Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Wilson, Live Oak, FL; two sons, David M. (Michelle) Wilson, Deland, FL; Randy L. (Jennifer) Wilson, Dunnellon, FL; one daughter, Lisa (Rick) Garrett, Anderson, IN; one brother, Ronnie Wilson, Orlando, FL; one sister, Onda Delong, Elwood, IN; his best friend, Banjo, Live Oak, FL; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, six nieces and two nephews.
Memorial services were held Saturday, April 5th at 10:00 am in the Luraville Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Russ officiating.
Finalization was by cremation.
