Freda Lusk

Alfreda “Freda” Lusk , age 74, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Sunday morning, April 4, 2021 at her home following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Moro, Arkansas moving to Live Oak in 1995 from Miami, FL.  Freda worked as a greyhound trainer and a waitress and loved cooking, making candy bass fishing and watching hummingbirds in her beautiful yard.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Andy Lusk; a son, Larry Johnson and a sister, Betty Allen.

She is survived by two sons, Brian (Susan) Johnson and Arthur (Misty) Johnson all of McAlpin, FL; one daughter, Lesia (Scott) Hulme, Live Oak, FL; one brother, John (Beth) Herndon, Saint Helens, OR; two sisters, Jeanette (Jim) Loftis, Hot Springs, AR and Gwen (Roy) Madril, Gilbert, AZ; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held, 11:00 AM, Monday, April 12th in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Todd Langdon officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in McAlpin, FL.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
