George Fredrick Arnold, age 76, of Live Oak, FL passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was born in Naples, FL moving to Live Oak in 1978 from Tampa, FL. George was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Technician for Alltel Telephone Company for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and gardening, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son, Timothy Brian Arnold, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Ashley Arnold, Ocala, FL; one brother, John B. Arnold, Inglis, FL; one sister, Ruth Ann, Panama City, Beach, FL and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held, 2:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery with full military rites at the graveside.
Visitation was held, one hour prior to the services from 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home.
