Jack Wilson July 1, 1924 October 26, 2008 Jack Wilson, 84 of Wellborn, Florida passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Suwannee Valley Care Center, Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. The Oneonta, NY native moved to Live Oak, FL in 1980 from St. Petersburg, Fl. He was a retired electronics salesman, a U.S. Navy veteran having served during WWII as Lieutenant JG??. Jack was a member of a barbershop chorus and a barber shop quartet, called the Suwannee Valley Harmonizers. He also volunteered for the AARP tax aide program and was a member of the Wellborn United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jinny Wilson, Wellborn, FL; one son, Peter Wilson, Houston, TX; three daughters, Mary Eager, Dahlonega, GA; Margie Willard, Yadkinville, NC; Emily McCrea, Gainesville, FL; nine grandchildren and three and a half great grandchildren. Memorial services were held 1:30 pm Saturday, Nov. 1st in the Wellborn United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Messer and Rev. Cheryl Pingel officiating.
