Gloria Mae Dinsmore
March 1, 1930 — August 5, 2022
Gloria Barton Dinsmore, age 92, died on August 5, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, Florida. Her daughter, Donna, was with her.
Gloria is survived by her children Donna (Vancouver, BC) and Dana (Live Oak, FL), her granddaughters, Angela and Amber, and her great-grandchildren, Malachi and Acacia; also, her siblings Joyce, Roy and Betty, many nieces and nephews and hundreds of former students, having taught in the Easton School System for 36 years.
Predeceased by her husband George, who died on November 4, 2021, and her parents Roy and Maude and siblings Sherwood and Phyllis.
In addition to teaching language arts in Easton, Gloria taught Sunday School at the United Baptist Church and host4ed many parties for her children when they were in high school and college. She loved her Maine friends in the Butterfield Acres neighborhood in Florida, and attended the Community Presbyterian Church in Live Oak, FL.
