Hal Dean Eubanks, age 77, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lake City, FL. The Magazine, AK native move to Live Oak, FL in 2005 from Crystal River, FL. He was a self-employed electronics technician. Hal was a highly decorated U.S. Army Ranger Combat Medic having served during the Korean Conflict. He was awarded a purple heart, a silver star and a bronze star with valor. He was a member of the Pine Castle Lodge #368 F & AM in Pine Castle, FL, the Scottish Rite & Bahia Shrine Temple and the American Legion # 107 of Live Oak, FL.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Eubanks of Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Kelli (John) Wright of Brunswick, GA; sisters, Billie Jo (Richard) Patton, East Point, Atlanta & Dorothy Dunlap of Austin, TX; brother-in-law Clifford (Joan) Moser of Sedalia, Colorado; one grandchild, two great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews.
