Harmon Alvin Howard, age 72, of White Springs, FL passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a brief illness. He was born in Live Oak, FL moving to White Springs, FL in 1984 from Live Oak. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ and had worked for PCS as a supervisor for thirty-two years. Harmon was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was an avid Florida Gator fan. He loved fishing, cooking and grilling out, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Theron and Cleo Howard and a brother, Randy Howard.
He is survived by his wife, Cameila Howard, White Springs, FL; five sons, Michael (Erin) Howard, Green Cove Spring, FL; Ryan (Alisha) Howard, Lake City, FL; Alvin Howard, White Springs, FL; Walter Howard, Lake City, FL and Travis (Liz Ward) Stapleton, White Springs, FL; three daughters, Lori (Ryan Feagle) Dugger, Lake City, FL; Cari (Domingo) DelValle, Ohio and Lynne (Matt) Buchanan, Mayo, FL; one sister, Judy (Eddie) Benefield, Live Oak, FL; thirty grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held, Friday, August 13 th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Graveside services were held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 14, 2021 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Romey Luke officiating.
