Hazel Rehberg Harrell

Hazel R. Harrell July 31, 1922 January 9, 2008 Hazel R. Harrell, 85 of Temple Terrace, Florida passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008, at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL following a lengthy illness. The Ochlocknee, GA native moved to Tampa, FL in 1949 from Tifton, GA and had resided in Temple Terrace, FL since 1955. She was a faithful Christian wife and mother. Harrell was a member of Charter class, University of South Florida, 1960, employed by Belle South and General Telephone companies, University of South Florida Registrar’s Office, University of South Florida’s Credit Union, University Village Retirement Center and volunteered many years at University Community Hospital. She was a member of the North Blvd. Church of Christ in Tampa, FL. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cecil F. Harrell. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy H. Thomas, Temple Terrace, FL; Cecelia H. Stewart, Tampa, FL; one brother, Joe Rehberg, Jr., Climax, GA; three sisters, Annie “Laura” Holsenbeck, Jacksonville, FL; Leola Stephens, and Juanita Pyles, Whigham, GA; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Private family funeral services were held, Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home, Inc., 932 N. Ohio Ave., Live Oak was in charge of all arrangements.
