Hedwig Dora Erskin, “Dora”, age 79, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2021 at the Surrey Place following a brief illness. She was born Heligenberg, Germany and became a naturalized citizen in 1969. She was a dedicated Military wife and was married to Thomas J. Erskin for 55 years. She moved to Live Oak in 1988 coming from Enid, OK. She loved to go fishing and camping and spending time with family. She was an avid gardener and had a knack for making things grow. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Erskin, Live Oak; one daughter, Sharon Hutchison (Wayne) Live Oak, FL; one grandson Herb Hutchison. Funeral services will be held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the Church of the Nazarene of Live Oak and burial in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Louis Medaris officiating.
