Helen Louise Connell January 30, 1921 May 23, 2010 Helen Louise Connell, age 89, formally of Live Oak, Florida passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL following a lengthy illness. Helen was born in Live Oak, FL and moved to Jacksonville, FL five years ago from Leesburg, FL. She worked for many years as a Nurse and was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include one son, Joe Peeples, Jonesborough, TN; one daughter, Sidney Berish, Jupiter, FL; one brother, Ken Hull, Orlando, FL; two grandchildren. Graveside services were held, 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 27, 2010 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Pastor Shirley Mergan officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Asso., 2411 NW 41st St.,Suite A, Gainesville, FL 32606.
