Helen Geiger Mobley, age 100, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, Florida, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Jasper, Florida living most of her life in McAlpin, Florida.

Helen loved her family deeply and was known for her strong work ethic throughout her life. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, and caring for her cats. In her younger years, she especially loved preparing meals and cooking for church dinners. She also cherished spending time in the mountains with her late husband, William G. Mobley, and treasured the time she spent traveling and visiting her son Donnie in Germany.

Known to many as "Nanny" or "Little Nanny" because of her small stature, that never compared to the size of her heart. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, devotion to family, and caring spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Mobley and son, William D. (Donnie) Mobley.

She is survived by one son, Grant Mobley, McAlpin, Florida; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the McAlpin Advent Christian Church with Pastor Chet Hart officiating. Interment will follow in church cemetery. Visitation and viewing will be held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
