Helin Ruthnelis Morales, age 59, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Shands U.F. in Gainesville, FL. She was born in LaPalma, Darien, Panama moving to Live Oak in 2002 from Orlando, FL. She worked for Pilgrim Pride and in her spare time, enjoyed gardening, playing video games and reading the Bible. Helin also volunteered at local nursing homes doing what she loved most, taking care of others. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Rafael Morales, Live Oak; three sons, Donald Lee Quinn, Jr., Live Oak; Rafael Morales, Jr., Daytona, FL; Alexandel Morales, Puerto Rico; two daughters, Karen Lee, Savanah, GA and Tiffany Flint, Mobile, AL; one brother and seven sisters; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held, 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the La Vos de el Salvador with Pastor Albino Simon and Elder Anita Parham officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation was held, Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
