Hilda Marie Hancock
November 12, 1927 — December 31, 2023
Hilda Marie Hancock, age 96, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Lafayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mayo, FL, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Moultrie, GA, moving to Live Oak, FL in 1975 where she worked in sales for the Gibbs Department Store and was a member of the First Baptist Church where she helped with the clothes closet for the church. She loved reading, working with flowers, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Richard (Rhonda) Hancock and Jimmy (Karen) Hancock all of Live Oak; one sister, Montine Corbin; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held,11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Sweitzer officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the services, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
