Howard Wesley Goff, age 85, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, Florida. The native of McAlpin, Florida was born October 01, 1935 to his parents Howard B. and Edna Crews Goff. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict upon returning home he attended the University of Florida and received his BSBA and MBA. Prior to returning to Live Oak, Wesley was a partner with Dwight Darby & Company from 1964 until 1978. Upon returning to Live Oak he was with Strickland & Goff from 1978 to 1991. At which time he went to work for the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches and retired in 2002. He was a member of the Live Oak Rotary Club and the First Baptist Church, an avid reader and he loved walking the woods looking for quail or sitting in a dove field. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Goff of Live Oak; a brother, J. Leslie Goff, of Altamonte Springs, FL; and a sister, Carolyn Winfrey (Terry) of Venice, Fl. Rev. Phillip Herrington will officiate private funeral service at the Pinemount Cemetery in McAlpin, FL. Memorial services will be held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Herrington officiating.
