Howard Franklin Hamlin

Howard Franklin Hamlin, age 84, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. He was a native of Day, FL living most of his life in Live Oak. He retired from the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War and Vietnam conflict. He was a charter member of the Fleet Reserve #220. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hamlin of Live Oak. Visitation was held Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services were held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Orange Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Louis Medaris officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 6037 Hwy 90 West, Lake City, FL 32055.
