Howard Franklin Hamlin, age 84, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. He was a native of Day, FL living most of his life in Live Oak. He retired from the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean War and Vietnam conflict. He was a charter member of the Fleet Reserve #220.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hamlin of Live Oak.
Visitation was held Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Graveside services were held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in the Orange Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Louis Medaris officiating.
