Ida Lavada Davis
March 9, 1930 — February 7, 2024
Ida Lavada Davis, age 93, of Live Oak, FL passed away Wednesday evening, February 7, 2024 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL.
She was born in Lexington, SC moving to Live Oak in 1969 from Miami, FL. Ida worked as a waitress at the drive in theater for many years and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She volunteered as a Pink Lady for the Suwannee County Hospital and loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her first husband and father to her children, Abraham Parnell and her second husband William Davis and a son, Johnny Parnell.
She is survived by her four sons, Cliff (Josie) Parnell, Nelson Parnell, Larry Parnell and Charlie (Trisha) Parnell; two daughters, Zonia (Billy) Starling and Denise (Ron) Knight; one brother, Norman Guy Horton, Jr.; twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and twenty plus great-great grandchildren.
As per her wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
