Idola Jowers

Idola Jowers September 18,1928 * January 1,2012 Idola Jowers, age 83 of Live Oak, Florida passed away early Sunday morning January 1, 2012 at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Madison County, FL living most of her life in Live Oak. Idola was a homemaker and a member of the Live Oak Christian Church. Survivors include her two sons, Tommy (Marsha) Jowers, Lakeland, FL; Danny (Terri) Jowers, Golden, CO; two daughters, Bobbie (Eddie) Slaughter, Rydal, GA; Gracie Browning, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Jeanette Pert, Tampa, FL; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Services were held 6:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Thomas officiating. Internment was held in the Macedonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 6037 Hwy 90 West, Lake City, FL 32055.
