Iris Schneider Robertson

Iris Schneider Robertson, age 84, of Live Oak, FL passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Suwannee Health Care Center following complications from Alzheimer’s. She was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak where she worked as a nurse for many years at the Suwannee County Hospital. She was a member of the First Advent Christian Church. As her health began to fail she moved to be closer to her children. Her last request was to come back to her home town for her final days. Iris was a loving and caring mother, sister and grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Robert (Bridgette) Robertson, III, Perry, FL; two daughters, Roberta (Ed) Sands, Perry, FL; Patricia Rogers, Islamorada, FL; one brother, John Paul (Betty) Schneider, Live Oak; brother-in-law, Larry Carlson, Robinson, TX; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Graveside services were held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Tim Carver officiating.
