Isabelle Jones

Ellen Isabelle Jones, age 96, passed away early Sunday morning, Dec. 9, 2007, at Barrington Terrace Assisted Living Facility in Ft. Myers, Fl. following a lengthy illness. The Trout, Louisiana native moved to Live Oak, Fl in 1945 from Monticello, Fl. She retired from the Suwannee County School System after having taught for over twenty years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, needle craft, fishing and swimming and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Live Oak. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Jones. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, June and Bert Tolbert, Ft. Myers, Fl; two step-grandchildren; three step-greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held, Thursday, Dec. 13th at 11:00AM in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Wilding, officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make contributions to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Ft. Myers, Fl 33908. Harris Funeral Home, Inc., 932 N. Ohio Ave., Live Oak was in charge of all arrangements.
