James "J.D." Daniel Ross, Jr.

James Daniel Ross, Jr. “J.D.”, age 93, of Live Oak, FL passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak where he owned and operated the family farm.  He loved the outdoors doing woodwork and fishing but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Ross, Live Oak, FL; two daughters, DeAnna (Steve) Fillyaw, Live Oak, FL and Montina (Jerry) Goff, McAlpin, FL.  Ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
