James Maulden

James Maulden, age 69 of Live Oak, passed away late Thursday evening, May 24, 2012 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL following a courageous battle with cancer. The Jamestown, S.C. native moved to Live Oak in 1962 from Panama City, FL. He worked as a Chief Surveyor for PCS, was a Sergeant in the Florida National Guard and a member of the Rocky Sink Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Loyce Faye Maulden, Live Oak; two daughters, Charlette Tucker, Perry,FL; Betty Prince, Lake City; his mother, Jo Maulden, Live Oak; two brothers, Don Maulden and Johnny Maulden both of Live Oak; two sisters, Sarah Tillman, Live Oak and Rosie Smith, Lake City; three grandchildren.
Visitation was held Monday, May 28th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Graveside services were held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in the Rocky Sink cemetery with Rev. Quincy Simmons officiating.
