James "Jim" Mcgraw

James Patrick McGraw, Sr., age 64, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a brief illness.  Jim was born in Dania, Florida moving to Live Oak, FL in 1998 from Hollywood, Florida.  He worked as a welder and loved gardening, socializing and NASCAR.  He was better known as “PawPaw” by his loving grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents, Louis and Jane McGraw; his grandparents, Ernest and Emma McGraw and Otto and Theresa Top; a sister, Marian McGraw.

He is survived by his wife, Marie McGraw, Live Oak, FL; one son, James Patrick”JJ”, (Lilly) McGraw, Jr., Interlachen, FL; two daughters, Melissa (Jason) Carroll and Emily (Dustin) Musgrove all of Live Oak, FL; one sister, Diane Trader, Live Oak, FL; one uncle, Edward Top, Live Oak, FL; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services were held 4:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2024 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tim Carver officiating.
