James "Mr. Bob" Robert Lewis

James Robert Lewis “Mr. Bob”, age 79, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his home following a sudden illness.  He was born in Tarrytown, NY moving to Live Oak in 2008 from Port Charlotte, FL.  Mr. Bob, as he was known by his family and friends, was a veteran of the U.S. Army in special forces during the Korean War. He worked as a welder and was also a handyman.  He love NASCAR and was Catholic by faith.

He is survived by his companion, Gail Martin, Live Oak; three sons, Bobby Lewis and John Lewis both of Loris, SC and Joe Lewis, Matamoras, PA; one brother, Bill Lewis, and one sister, Carol Shueker; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Memorial services will be held, Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park camp ground.
