James "Buddy" Voyles

James ”Buddy” Voyles January 21, 1949 * October 4, 2011 James “Buddy” Voyles age 62, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Tuesday October 4, 2011 at V.A. Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was a native and life long resident of Live Oak, a U.S. Army veteran and a Supervisor with the Suwannee County Public Works Department. Buddy loved living in the country and working in his beautiful yard. He was a loving husband, father and brother who will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Voyles, Live Oak, FL; one son, Russell (Brenda) Carroll, Live Oak, FL; one brother, H.L. "Renny" Voyles, four sisters, Alice Parsons, Angie Voyles, Peggy Stratton & Evelyn Hafen all of Live Oak, FL; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation was held Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services were held 10:00 AM, Friday, October 7, 2011 in the Rocky Sink Baptist Church Cemetery.
