Jana Marie Bernsee

Jana Marie Bernsee, 52 of Live Oak, Florida passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a native of Hooppole, IL moving to Live Oak in 1991 from Clearwater, Florida. She was the Business Manager for Live Oak Diesel. She was well loved and will be greatly missed by the members of the Bosom Buddies. Jana was known for her love of her family and her animals. She enjoyed taking care of and raising horses, and her extended family, her precious cats and dogs. Survivors include her husband, Rick Bernsee, Live Oak, FL; two sons, Brett Bernsee, Clearwater, FL; Travis Bernsee, Gainesville, FL; her mother, Helen Vetter, Clearwater, FL; one brother, James Vetter, Clearwater, FL; two sisters, Joy Collman, Tallahassee, FL; Jean Shapiro, Clearwater, FL. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the services. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18th at 2:00 pm in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Mr. Karl Wiggins officiating.
