Janet Rush May 24, 1921 February 12, 2009 Janet Rush, 87 of Dowling Park, Florida passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL following a lengthy illness. The Dawson, PA native moved to Dowling Park, FL in 2004 from Tallahassee, FL. Janet was a homemaker, a member of the O.E.S. and in her spare time enjoyed cooking, collecting special recipes and writing family recipe books. She was a member of the Village Church in Dowling Park. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Bob Rush of Dowling Park, FL; two daughters, Anne Porter, Shalimar, FL; Margie Gibbons, Tallahassee, FL; her twin brother, Howard Burdette, Flat Rock, NC; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 10 :00 A.M., Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Advent Christian Village Benevolent Fund, P.O. Box 4305, Dowling Park, FL 32064.
