Jean Stewart Johnson

Jean Stewart Johnson, age 77, of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at the West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala, FL due to a brief illness. She was born in Valdosta, GA living most of her life in Live Oak. Jean worked as a secretary for Columbia Grain and was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church and a widows club called the, Sweet Spirits. She loved to sew, do crossword puzzles and play Rummikub. Her most enjoyable moments were spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jessie James and Melba Stewart, her husband, Gene Johnson, brother, Joe Stewart, sister, Bonnie Culver and a son-in-law, Kenny Mills.
She is survived by one son, Jay (Ronda) Johnson, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Lisa Mills, Live Oak; FL; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Ben Bush officiating.
