Jennings Bryan Gamble, Jr., better known to his family and friends as "J.B.", age 93, passed away Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, in the Suwannee Valley Care Center Haven Hospice, Lake City, Florida.  He was born and raised in Live Oak and was a supervisor for Goldkist.  J.B. enjoyed flying remote controlled model airplanes, building and racing go-carts and had a passion for woodworking especially making birdhouses out of cedar.  He was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church and could be seen many Sunday mornings greeting members while opening the door for them with a smile and a handshake.  He was a Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jennings Bryan Gamble and Olivia Jordon Gamble, wife Pauline Gamble, three sisters Iris McEwen, Kathleen Googe and Margaret Kilpatrick

He is survived by two sons, Bryan Gamble (Stacey) of Live Oak, Fl. and Michael Gamble of Live Oak, Fl., one sister, Shirley Sperring (Bo) of Live Oak, Fl. three grandchildren, Sarah Goddard (Josh), Cody Gamble and Kyle Gamble.

Viewing and visitation were held on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022, from 10:00 am until 10:45 am in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel.  Graveside services were held at 11:00 am in the Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Pennington and Rev. Ben Bush, officiating.
