Joe Kilmire

Joseph V. Kilmire, age 48, of McAlpin, FL, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, FL following a brief illness. Joe worked for Pritchett Trucking Company for several years.  He enjoyed life and was compassionate and loving.  His favorite thing to do was to take his motorcycle (Elvira) out on the open road and ride with his buddies.  He would always tease and say, “His motorcycle was the only wife he needed.” He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph V. Kilmire, Jr. and Ann D. Kilmire.

He is survived by one daughter, Samantha Kilmire (Ronnie Shelton), one sister, Donna (Wayne) Fewell, and two nephews, Joey Fewell and Tyler Seeley.  Many cousins, aunts and uncles.

A viewing and celebration of his life was held, 4:30 PM, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel.
