John Richard Trehy

            John Richard Trehy, age 96, of Jasper, FL passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center, Lake City, FL. He was a native of Hartford, CT moving to Jasper in 1998 from Hastings, FL. He was Catholic by faith. John worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and in his spare time loved doing yard work. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline and two sons, John and Jordy Trehy. He is survived by four son, Ed Trehy and Robert Trehy both of Jasper, FL, Joseph Trehy (Teresa), Storrs, CT, Richard Trehy (Avis), Groton, CT; two daughters, Ruth Cragle (Terry), Charlotte, NC, Rose Marie Karosi (Jeff), Ashford, CT; daughter in law, Susan Trehy, Tolland, CT; fourteen grandchildren and twenty three greatgrandchildren. His ashes will be buried in the St. Phillips Cemetery in Ashford, CT at a later date.
