Jolena Ray Rose

Jolena Ray Rose, age 62, of McAlpin, FL, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Bremen, IN living most of her life in South Florida before moving to McAlpin in 1998. Jolena worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Rose, McAlpin, FL; one son, Chad (Corrine) Johnson, Sparta, WI; two daughters, Christina (Brien) Staffard, Clover, SC and Melissa (Joseph) Cassidy, Winter Garden, FL; her mother, Doris Wolfe, Port Clinton, OH; two brothers, Robert Spindler, Port Clinton, OH and Mark Spindler, Ohio; one sister, Doretta Cuevas, Port Clinton, OH; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held, 6:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Visitation was held Friday, May 3rd from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
