Joseph Bennett Stewart Joseph Bennett “Joe Boy” Stewart age 68, of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Jacksonville, FL living all of his life in Live Oak. Joe boy better known by his family and friends worked for PCS for many years as an electrician. He loved spending time cruising the Suwannee River and water-skiing behind his boat named “Trouble”. He was inducted into the SHS Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012 as part of the 1962 football team and was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his parents Jessie and Melba Stewart. Survivors include two sisters, Bonnie Culver, Jacksonville, FL; Jean Johnson, Live Oak. Visitation was held Monday, March 4, 2013 one hour prior to the services from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services were held at 2:00 PM in the Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Deas officiating.
