Joyce Howard

Joyce Ellen Hurst Howard, age 70 of Mayo, Florida passed away, May 24, 2021 at the Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Clearwater, Florida moving to Plant City, Florida before moving Mayo, Florida in 1999. She worked as the supervisor in the kitchen at the Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park, Florida. She was a Christian. She loved to crochet, garden and bake, She was an all round caregiver and mothered everyone that came close to her.

she is survived by two daughters; Paula Howard-Smith, Live Oak, FL, Julie DeGarmo, Plant City, FL, three brothers; Tim Hurst, Richard Hurst, Ted Hurst, three sisters; Norma Linton, Edith Martin, Pattie Bombard; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held graveside at the Macedonia Cemetery in Live Oak, Florida Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Toby Martin officiating.
