Mildred "Joyce" Paulsen, age 89, of Live Oak, FL passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Shands UF in Gainesville, FL. She was born in Linden, PA moving to Live Oak in 1979 from Denver, Colorado. She was a well-known self-employed seamstress and in 1980 she made the uniforms for the Suwannee High School Dancing Dolls. She also had some of her designs appear on the cover of Cosmo magazine. Joyce was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Ben Paulsen, II, Live Oak; Tim Paulsen, Jess Paulsen and Mike Paulsen all of Denver, CO; one daughter, Trudy Mansfield, Live Oak; one brother, Jack Hunter, Duluth, MN; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the church. Funeral services will be held, 3:00 PM, Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Southside Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Britt officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery.
