Joyce L. Towle January 25, 1937**March 7, 2011 Joyce L. Towle, age 74, formally of Lake Elmore, VT passed away Monday evening, March 7, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL. The Stowe, VT native moved to McAlpin, FL three years ago from Lake Elmore, VT. She worked for many years as a cook in the school cafeteria. Joyce was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She will always be remembered for the amazing cook that she was. She enjoyed singing in her church choir and was a Sunday school teacher and Advent Christian by faith. She was predeceased by a son, Scott in 1987. Survivors include her husband, Eldon Towle, McAlpin, FL; two daughters, Pam (Tim) Carver, Live Oak, FL; Lynn (Doug) Mabey, Dowling Park, FL; two sons, Brian (Carol) Towle, Waterville, VT; Chris (Melissa) Towle, Johnson, VT; a daughter-in-law, Robin Copeland, Angier, NC; one brother, Earl Magoon, Morrisville, VT; two sisters, Arlene Preston, Morrisville, VT; Barbara Shonio, Stowe, VT; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the First Advent Christian Church with Rev. Tim Carver officiating. Interment followed in Vermont.
