Judy Lee Strickland

Judy Lee Strickland, age 81, passed away, Friday, August 15, 2025, at Shands UF in Gainesville, FL following a brief illness. She was born in Brownsville, TX, moving to Live Oak, FL in 1970 from Miami, FL. Judy worked as a teacher for many years and loved every minute of it. She loved reading, doing word search and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Kara McKeithen-Booth and son-in-law Matthew, Charlotte, NC; Kelly Alexis Hollingsworth and son-in-law Brent, Live Oak, FL; two brothers, Jim Weber, Miami, FL and Patrick Weber, Clarkston, MI; one sister, Susan Borze, Fernandina Beach, FL and four grandchildren.
As per her wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
