Julia Claire Barnes

Julia Clair Barnes, age 92, of Dowling Park, FL passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL.  She was born in Gulf Hammock, FL moving to Dowling Park, FL in 2018 from Chiefland, FL.  Julia was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a secretary for a day care center for many years.  She was a member of the Hardeetown Baptist Church in Chiefland.  She loved to read, cook and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Eva (Rick) Mills, Live Oak, FL; one brother, Harry (Jackie) Hutson, Chiefland, FL; one sister, Nita Parker, Fanning Springs, FL; Grandchildren, Paul Barnes, Bobby Barnes, Stacie McManamy, Christina Steiner, Stacie Winn, Shanna Barnes and Max Bell. Several Great Grandchildren also survive.
