Katherine Sue Griffin

Katherine Sue Griffin, age 76, of Starke, FL passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. She was born in Alton, MO moving to Starke, FL thirty-eight years ago from Jacksonville, FL. She was a homemaker and member of the United Pentecostal Church in Jacksonville. She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Griffin, a daughter, Kimbery Brown and a brother, Dwight Orr. She is survived by one son, Robert “Robbie” Smith, Alton, MO; two daughters, Julia (Ronnie) King and Norma Hall both of Starke, FL; four brothers, Vernon Orr, Richard Orr, Ralph Orr all of Alton, MO and Phillip Orr, Alpena, AR; two sisters, Myrtle Little and Shirley Hufstedler both of Alton, MO; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held, Saturday, Aug. 29th from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 30th in the Clary Funeral Home in Alton, MO. Interment will follow in the Huddleston Cemetery.
