Keith Gordon Hudson

Keith Gordon Hudson February 16, 1957 November 23, 2016 Keith Gordon Hudson, age 59, of Live Oak, FL passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his home. Keith born in New Jersey, grew up by the Herring River on Cape Cod, MA. He loved the water and fishing his whole life. He joined the Army after high school, having many exciting days in the 82nd Airborne. After 4 yrs., he left the service and returned to Cape Cod to work on a large lobster boat. After a few years he took professional driver training and was employed by Werner Enterprises as owner operator, hauling freight long distance. Keith retired to Live Oak in 2001 buying a brick house on 10 acres and a dog. Snapper was with him for the rest of his life. Keith started a nursery, "Trees That Please" until a rapid heart rate and the medicine to control it started a down ward spiral of his health.He was a committed Christian and when he was able attended Westwood Baptist Church.He valued his many friends and kept in touch with them from high school on. His father an important part of his life died last year. He leaves his mother, Carol, older sister Lorrie, her husband and their children, Michael, Emily and Sarah. Photos of the family he loved were all over his home. He spoke to his favorite Aunt Doris and Uncle Bob Hackbarth every week. Memorial being planned.
