Larry Robinson

Larry Robinson, age 71, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Shands Live Oak following a lengthy illness. He was a native and life long resident of Live Oak. After retiring from Independent Life Insurance Company he purchased and operated Jay’s Restaurant from 1992 until 2009. He served in the Florida National Guard for six years. He was Past Worthy Patron of Eastern Star #49 and member of Hayward Lodge #45 F & AM. He was a member and past deacon of the Tiger Lake Baptist Church and had served as the music director for several years. Larry was a wonderful, loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Diana Robinson, Live Oak; one daughter, Shannon (Bryan) Clark, Opp, AL; one son, Robbie Robinson, Live Oak; his mother, Ruth Robinson, Live Oak; two brothers, Donald (Sue) Robinson, Live Oak; Rodney (Linda) Robinson, Murphy, GA; three sisters, Barbara Ann King, Tallahassee, FL; Sandra (Claude) Starling and Tesie (Don) Allen all of Live Oak; three grandchildren, Mindell Robinson, Kindell Robinson and Lily Kathryn Clark. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in the Tiger Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Melvin Owen officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery.
